In 1997, the City of Montgomery demolished the old Frank Leu building and turned it into a parking lot. In 2013, our development team was approached by the City of Montgomery to redevelop this site that was across the street from the Renaissance Montgomery Civic Center. The last development in the downtown area was over a decade ago.
Our vision was to build a mixed-use development with 18,000 square feet of retail with 54 apartments above. The development opened several years later. Since that opening, the City of Montgomery has seen the construction of new hotels, rehabilitations of older high rises into multi-family, and new restaurants coming to their downtown.
